Pensions dashboard update

One of the challenges facing many people when it comes to planning their financial future is the fact that they’ve got savings in several pension schemes, and it isn’t always easy to figure out how they might fit together.

That’s where pensions dashboards will come in. These new services will show members all their pension information (including the State Pension) in one place. You’ll be able to see an estimated retirement income for each scheme of which you’re a member, plus a total figure.

There’s a lot of activity at the moment in the pensions industry to develop dashboards and make sure all the data standards and requirements are being met ahead of the testing and launch phases. The Trustees and Aon, the Scheme Administrator, are working hard to make sure our data is up to date ahead of connection to the dashboard service. You can help by going to the secure portal at pensionline.org/aapensions and checking that we’ve got the correct details on file for you.

We don’t expect the dashboards to be ready for members to access until 2024, but it’s worth knowing about them in advance so that you’re ready to take advantage of the new services when they arrive.
